MEET CULLEN

When I started down the path of earning my real estate license more than twenty years ago, my instructor said something I’ve remembered ever since: “Nobody grows up saying they want to be a real estate agent — you end up here.” At the time, I thought it was an odd statement. But there’s truth to it. Many people enter real estate thinking it’s an easy way to make quick money, only to discover that this profession takes far more effort, resilience, and skill than they expected. According to NAR, 75% of brokers leave the business before the first year and 87% within the first five years!

I didn’t fall into real estate by accident — I arrived here through the sum of my experiences. I also come from a family deeply connected to real estate: my dad is a real estate attorney, and my mom has a passion for renovating homes. Growing up in a variety of homes (many mid-renovation), working as a finish carpenter in high-end residential remodels for more than a decade, developing customer-service fundamentals through retail sales, and even a brief chapter in web development all shaped the way I approach this work. Those skills, combined with a supportive network of people who believed in me, gave me the foundation to launch a successful real estate career built on craftsmanship, problem-solving, and a genuine desire to help others.

Over the years — and through hundreds of transactions — I’ve gained a deep well of knowledge that allows me to guide buyers and sellers through Seattle’s fast-paced and competitive market. Along the way, I’ve earned the Coldwell Banker Bain Presidential Elite designation, placing me among the top 3% of over 100,000 Coldwell Banker brokers internationally, and I’ve been recognized as a Five Star Broker for 14 consecutive years. Real estate is a uniquely challenging and ever-changing profession. Every client has different goals, every home has its own story, and the Seattle market never sleeps. That’s what keeps me interested, motivated, and grateful to continue growing my business.

One thing I always emphasize is that real estate is not about me — it’s about you. Everyone has different expectations of what they want from their broker, and my job is to tailor the experience to your needs. I love helping people buy and sell homes, and I truly care about ensuring each client feels heard, supported, and confident throughout the process. Many clients tell me they chose to refer me because they felt I cared — and that it made all the difference.

I also strongly believe that a broker should never make decisions for their clients. I see it happen more often than it should, even among experienced agents. My role is to empower you with market knowledge, present your options clearly, offer my professional perspective, and act on your direction. You are the principal — I’m here to advocate for your goals and guide you, not to take over your decision-making. Every step of the way, we make choices together, with transparency and communication at the core.

This business moves fast, and having the right broker at your side matters. I’m hands-on with every client and every transaction because the details — your details — matter. I’m accessible, accountable, and directly involved from the first conversation to the closing table. You deserve someone who treats your goals with the same care and urgency as their own, and that’s exactly how I work. If you’re planning a move, exploring options, or simply want guidance on timing and strategy, I’d welcome the chance to talk.

I’m here for you!

I personally respond to all inquiries here. Prefer to talk? Give me a call, send a text, or drop me an email. I’m happy to answer any questions.
